Master in NESE Viva Voce Announcement: Congratulations to Mr Lim Kok Loong (MEG2310007)

The School is pleased to announce that Mr Lim Kok Loong (MEG2310007) from Master in New Energy Science and Engineering has passed his viva voce with Minor Correction held on 29th October 2025.
Lim defended his Master dissertation "Sustainable Solar Photothermal Applications for Environmental Remediation and Clean Water Production" or "可持续太阳能光热应用于环境修复与清洁水生产" under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haw Choon Yian & Assoc. Prof. Dr Tan Swee Tiam. His work has been published in several SCI-indexed journals:
Solar RRL (IF: 4.7), Advanced Sustainable Systems (IF: 6.1) etc
In this viva, the Internal Examiner was Assistant Professor Dr. Ng Boon Junn and the External Examiners were Dr. Tan Kim Han (Sunway University Malaysia) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kong Ing (La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia). The Chair was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kong Ing and the secretary was Ms. Crystal Lee Kar Yin.
