The School is pleased to announce that Mr Kam Jia Yan (MEG2309002) from Master in New Energy Science and Engineering has passed his viva voce with Minor Correction held on 9th Jan 2026.
Bagas defended his Master dissertation "Development of Phase-Engineered CuZn Composite Anodes via Electrodeposition Redox Replacement (EDRR) for Long-Life Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries" or "通过电沉积氧化还原置换（EDRR）构建相工程化CuZn复合负极用于长寿命水系锌离子电池" under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr Chong Woon Gie. His work has been published in SCI-indexed journal:
In this viva, the Internal Examiner was Asst Prof Dr Yvonne Choo Shuen Lann and the External Examiners were Professor Dr Ramesh A/L Subramanian & Ir Ts Dr Wan Fahmin Faiz Bin Wan Ali (UTM). The Chair was Prof. Dr. Tan Swee Tiam and the secretary was Ms. Crystal Lee Ka Yin.
