The School is pleased to announce that Mr Lee Yan Kang (MEG2304002) from Master in New Energy Science and Engineering has passed his viva voce with Minor Correction held on 18th December 2025.
Bagas defended his Master dissertation "An Improved Global Search Metaheuristic Algorithm for the Optimization of Solar Energy Conversion Systems under Partial Shading Conditions" or "局部遮阴下太阳能系统的改进型全域搜索算法" under the supervision of Assoc. Prof Dr Tan Jian Ding from School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. His work has been published in SCI-indexed journal:
In this viva, the Internal Examiner was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wang Yiju (School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence) and the External Examiners were Dr. Chen Chai Phing (UNITEN) & Dr. Lim Chin Wai (UNITEN). The Chair was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkifly bin Abbas and the secretary was Ms. Najah Aliah.
