Master in NESE Viva Voce Announcement: Congratulations to Mr Lee Shi Ken (MEG2311001)
Dear NESE-SECE,
The School is pleased to announce that Mr Lee Shi Ken (MEG2311001) from Master in New Energy Science and Engineering has passed his viva voce with Minor Correction held on 27th March 2026.
Shi Ken defended his Master dissertation "Development of High-Performance 3D Nitrogen-Doped Ti₃C₂TX MXene Electrodes and the Role of Nitrogen Configurations in Pseudocapacitive Charge Storage" or "⾼性能三维氮掺杂Ti₃C₂TXMXene电极的构建及氮掺杂构型对赝电容储能⾏为的影响机制研究" under the supervision of Asst Prof. Ir. Dr Mong Guo Ren. His work has been published in SCI-indexed journal (Journal of Energy Storage, IF: 9.8).
In this viva, the Internal Examiner was Asst. Prof. Dr. Choo Shuen Lann and the External Examiners were Prof. Dr. Lim Hong Ngee (UPM) & Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arshad Adam Salema (Monash University Malaysia). The Chair was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haw Choon Yian and the secretary was Ms. Crystal Lee Ka Yin.
