Master in NESE Viva Voce Announcement: Congratulations to Mr Goh Jin He (MEG2310008)
Dear NESE-SECE,
The School is pleased to announce that Mr Goh Jin He (MEG2310008) from Master in New Energy Science and Engineering has passed his viva voce with Minor Correction held on 29th October 2025.
Jin He defended his Master dissertation "Oxygen Defect Engineering of ZnO for Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance" or "氧化锌氧缺陷工程增强光催化性能" under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haw Choon Yian. His work has been published in SCI-indexed journal and several still in the progress of submission:
Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing (IF: 4.6)
In this viva, the Internal Examiner was Assistant Professor Dr. Havid Aqoma Khoiruddin and the External Examiners were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suriati Sufian (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS) and Prof. Dr. Choong Choe Earn (Kwangwoon University, Korea). The Chair was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gan Wee Chen and the secretary was Ms. Crystal Lee Kar Yin.
