CME PG Viva Voce Announcement: Congratulations to Ms Lo Jay Yee (MCE2305003)

Dear all,

 

The School of Energy and Chemical Engineering is pleased to announce that Ms Lo Jay Yee (MCE2305003) from Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (Research Mode) has passed her viva voce with Minor Correction held on 17th April 2026.

 

Lo Jay Yee defended her Master dissertation "Development of Alginate-Metal Organic Framework (MOFs) Composite for Lead (II) Removal from Aqueous Solutions" or “海藻酸盐/金属有机框架复合材料的构建及其对水中铅的吸附去除性能” under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Lam Weng Hoong.

 

Her work has been published in SCI-indexed journal: Lo, J.Y., Tee, L.H., Chan, E-S, *Lam, W.H., Preparation of magnetic UiO-66-NH2/alginate beads via emulsification/internal gelation technique for efficient adsorption of lead (Pb) from aqueous solution.
