About Me

Among the founding members of Bio-Alliance, consortium initiated by MOSTI to spearhead national bio-based technologies development in agriculture and animal feed. Committee member of National Oil Palm ROS ARPOS since 2022. Early active researcher that spearheading various governmental and industrial research grants in XMUM as principal investigator. Among them, Dr. Tan Jian Ping secured the first MOSTI project led by Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), the first STRG (MTSF) awarded to XMUM, the first IChemE-POPSIG project awarded to XMUM, and a grant from a BioNexus status company under Bioeconomy Malaysia. Dr Tan was awarded FRGS consecutively twice as project leader and co-PI of numerous FRGS projects.
