School of Energy and Chemical Engineering (SECE): Empowering education for a brighter future. Established in 2016, SECE is a prominent school within XMUM, nurturing professionals in energy and chemical engineering. Our main campus, Xiamen University, China, was founded in 1921 by Malayan Chinese educator Mr. Tan Kah Kee. XMUM is the first overseas campus by a renowned Chinese university and the first Chinese university branch campus in Malaysia, upholding Mr. Tan's spirit of educational devotion.
SECE offers programmes in Chemical Engineering and New Energy Science and Engineering. We attract a diverse student body, creating a multicultural learning environment. We provide Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. programmes, designed to give students a strong foundation in energy and chemical engineering and specialized knowledge to tackle industry challenges.
